Dr Rob Scoffin - CEO

Rob joined Cresset as Chief Executive Officer from CambridgeSoft in April 2010. He replaces Bea Leigh who has moved to non-executive Chairman. At CambridgeSoft, Rob was Vice President of European Operations where he was responsible for significant growth in their European business. Rob has a DPhil in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Beatrice Leigh - Chairman

Beatrice worked in academic research at both Cambridge and Harvard Universities before moving to SmithKline & French in 1980. She was Director of Operations for Technology Development at GSK and was responsible for several start-up companies spun out of GSK's research. She joined Cresset in March 2004.

Dr Andy (J.G) Vinter CChem, FRSC - Chief Scientific Officer

Andy has forty years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with Beechams, Ciba, Maybridge, The Wellcome Foundation and SmithKline & French. Since 1990 he has been a Scientific Consultant and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and is also a Visiting Professor at University College London. Andy was the scientific founder of Cresset.

Dr Mark Mackey - Director, Development

Mark's PhD in Chemistry at Cambridge was followed by experience in molecular modelling and software development at Napp Pharmaceuticals and at Merck, Sharpe and Dohme. He was one of the founders of Cresset.

Dr Tim Cheeseright - Director, Products

After a DPhil in Chemistry at Oxford, Tim gained experience as both a medicinal chemist and a molecular modeller at Peptide Therapeutics and Medivir before joining Cresset in 2002.

Dr George Buckley - Sales Manager

Since his PhD in organic synthesis at Nottingham University with Prof G Pattenden, George has worked as a Medicinal Chemist for over 14 years, starting in Chiroscience and moving through Celltech to UCB. He has extensive experience with a variety of biological targets and a track record of introducing new technologies into the laboratory.
