Design a Molecule-Sneak Peak

Our very popular molecule design competition is back next month and we’re continuing to work on anti-malarials, this time with a target relevant to antibacterials and anti-fungals.  We believe that this competition is not only a great way to hone your molecule design skills, but to generate potential leads in the fight against malaria, which is why we will donate any IP generated from the competition to a not-for profit working on this very worthy cause.

What is a cresset?

All of us at Cresset are asked this question from time to time and so we decided to dig for answers beginning with the man who name the company in 2001. Andy Vinter chose the Cresset name shortly before founding the company in 2002 and he provided us with a great explanation of its meaning, significance as a company name, a brief history of cressets, and some suggestions for where we can find cressets in the world today.
