CV05 – QA/Documentation Specialist

We are looking to add a QA specialist to our development team, based in Welwyn Garden City. You will have experience in software quality assurance including developing and maintaining automated test suites. Familiarity with both Linux and Windows would be advantageous, as would knowledge of scripting languages, C++, Qt and Squish. Some level of chemistry or other science knowledge would be preferred but not essential, as would software documentation experience. We operate in a professional, yet friendly and relaxed manner, and expect members of the team to show flexibility in working across several different business areas. This position may be available as a part-time role focussing solely on QA. Alternatively, the role offers the chance for the candidate to expand their career skills by becoming involved in marketing (creating content for white papers, journal articles and the web site) or software development. We offer a salary and benefits package commensurate with your skills and experience.

CV07 – Computational Chemist Developer

We have an opening for a computational chemist with programming experience to assist in developing new scientific techniques and turning these into industry-leading easy-to-use software products. You will be a PhD-level scientist with a strong background in computational chemistry and molecular modelling in the field of drug discovery, as well as experience in scientific programming with C, C++, Java or Fortran. You will be expected to work independently on scientific research projects, produce papers based on these, and present your research worldwide to Cresset customers and at scientific conferences. A background in ligand-based drug design would be helpful, as would knowledge of Linux, scripting languages (sh/perl/python) and higher mathematics. We offer a salary and benefits package commensurate with your skills and experience.
