This is a great opportunity for an Account Manager to join a growing team at Cresset. In this newly created customer facing position you be responsible for the sales of Cresset Discovery Services into the UK and mainland Europe.
Efficient follow-up of lead generation activity and maintain management of new and existing client accounts
Work with Cresset Discovery Services team to ensure adequate resources for pre-sales activities
Working with Director of Consulting Services and Project Management to help deliver Cresset Discovery Services projects
Identify and promote opportunities for Cresset Discovery Services clients to extended business to Cresset software offerings
Delivering and reporting of progress to the European Sales Manager against the agreed commercial targets as defined in the Territory Sales Forecast
Ensuring the routine operation of the Customer Relationship Management system for the UK and European customer base
Work with Marketing to develop and implement campaigns to promote Cresset Discovery Services
Work with Finance Administration to ensure efficient purchase order processing
Defining account plans for strategically important prospects and customers
Represent Cresset Discovery Services and attend conferences, seminars and exhibitions within the territory
Monitoring expenditure in all territory Sales and Marketing activities, including Travel, Expenses, Entertainment, Accommodation, Conference Fees, and ensuring it remain within the agreed budgets in the Budget and Business Plan documents
Ensure feedback on competitive intelligence gained from third parties
Scientific degree or higher degree – chemistry preferred
At least 2-3 years commercial/sales experience, preferably in an outsourced services orientated environment
An understanding of the Drug Discovery process
Language skills desired, but not essential
Valid driver’s license
Willing to travel
Friendly and confident manner when interacting with colleagues and customers
Strong communication and networking skills
Excellent oral and written English
Excellent planning and organisational skills; tenacious, has a self-starting approach and comfortable with deadlines
Self-motivation, drive and able to take the initiative
An outgoing and confident approach, comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment
