Advancing Understanding of Neurodegenerative Diseases Using Computational Methods
The understanding of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) / motor neurone and Huntington’s disease is evolving rapidly. Research is gaining traction, with a focus on determination of the formation of fibril protein structures which are characteristic of these diseases.
I discuss some of the research challenges these structures present and explore how Cresset Discovery CRO applies computational approaches that can aid in understanding progression of these diseases, guiding the way towards early and accurate diagnoses.
