This year we build on our established user group meeting format by introducing:
The meetings are made available at no cost to delegates and include: scientific program; hands-on software workshop; and the opportunity to network with the Cresset team and other delegates. Further details will be added to the programs over the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you are interested in contributing to the program please view the submission guidelines for the North America and Europe events. Abstracts should be submitted by March 15th. Dr Robert Scoffin discusses how computational chemistry can point the way to new targets for existing drugs through the use of pharmacophores. Read the article.
Clients often come to Cresset for consultancy projects because of the innovative software we offer, underpinned by proven scientific methods. Dr Martin Slater explains that Cresset’s technology can work with or without a structure of the target protein and how it can be used on the widest range of target classes. This makes it easy to start a consulting project when the structure of the target protein is not known. Read more plus a case study.
This month Dr Rae Lawrence takes a stroll down the road of host-guest chemistry, examining the field patterns presented by cup-shaped aromatic calixarenes and how they can be used to rationalize the improvement in physicochemical properties of their guests, e.g. improving solubility of water insoluble nifedipine.
